Meet Our Staff: Illinois CyberKnife Medical Physicist

At Illinois CyberKnife, our multidisciplinary treatment approach offers patients the opportunity to receive a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan best suited for their needs and diagnosis.

A medical physicist is a key member of the Illinois CyberKnife clinical team. Our chief medical physicist, David Park, is responsible for monitoring radiation dosages prescribed by the patient’s radiation oncologist. Using the CyberKnife® treatment planning system, David works to determine the angles and intensities of the CyberKnife radiation beams that will be delivered during treatment. A graduate of Rosalind Franklin University of North Chicago, David’s medical physics experience includes treating patients with a number of therapy treatment systems including CyberKnife.

If you or a loved one has questions about the CyberKnife treatment process and the roles of our staff, contact our center.
