Illinois CyberKnife Team Develops Liver Cancer Study Protocol

At Illinois CyberKnife, our physicians are dedicated to ongoing clinical research efforts demonstrating the effects of stereotactic radiosurgery for the treatment of tumors throughout the body.

Illinois CyberKnife physicians Drs. Arica Hirsch, James Ruffer, Patrick Sweeney and Majid Mohiuddin recently published a protocol for patients with colorectal cancer and limited liver metastasis. The protocol outlines the possibility for a curative outcome for some patients who experience liver metastases.
