Illinois CyberKnife Joins Advocate Lutheran General to Celebrate Cancer Survivorship Day

Each year, we recognize the first Sunday in June as National Cancer Survivors Day, a time focused on celebrating cancer survivors, family members, friends and medical professionals. The awareness day, in its 28th year, is sponsored by the non-profit National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation and provides an opportunity for all people living with a history of cancer to connect with each other and recognize those who have supported them along the way.

This year, Illinois CyberKnife joined hospital partner Advocate Lutheran General Hospital to celebrate Cancer Survivors Day at a community event attended by staff, former and current patients, and their families. The event served as an opportunity to celebrate the life of survivors and provide inspiration for those who have been recently diagnosed. Thanks to all who attended!
